Anthony Galinier

Anthony Galinier is a renowned tenor horn soloist currently playing with the Paris Brass Band and Brass Band de la Musique de l’Air de Paris. His three solo CDs have won prestigious awards and he is in regularly in demand as a soloist around the world.

Gary Fountain

Gary Fountain is the soprano cornet player of the International Staff Band and principal cornet of Kettering Citadel Band, having played for a number of the UK's premier bands including GUS, Black Dyke, Cory, Fairey's and Foden's. Professionally Gary is a brass instrumental teacher.

Helen Williams

Helen Williams is the flugelhorn soloist for the world's number 1 ranked band, Cory. She has won numerous solo awards throughout her decorated career, including best soloist awards at the British Open and Brass in Concert Championships. She has also won many of the major brass band contests.

Jamie Hood is recognised across the US and Europe as an educator, soloist and conductor. He has played with numerous high profile groups including l’Orchestre de Chambre de Cannes, The Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and The Houston Grand Opera..

Les Neish

Les Neish has created a career as a soloist, chamber musician and educator with a worldwide reputation. Known for his musicianship, artistry and high level of communication, Les dazzles audiences with fabulous technique and stunning musicianship.

Matthew van Emmerik

Matthew van Emmerik is an award-winning soloist and is the most recorded euphonium player in Australasia. He has been a guest soloist and member of numerous high-profile groups in the UK, USA and Australia. He has four solo albums to his name.

Sean A. Brown

Sean A. Brown is a freelance hornist, teacher and composer, having performed with numerous groups such as the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Yakima Symphony and the Wenatchee Valley Symphony.

David Koch

David Koch is a member of Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra and Flint Symphony Orchestra. He was won awards including the 10th Annual CIMVO Trumpet Competition and the 11th International Trumpet Seminar Competition at Grand Valley State University.

Glenn Van Looy

Glenn Van Looy has quickly established himself as one of the leading euphonium players of the 21st century. A winner of numerous awards, he currently plays principal euphonium with Valaisia Brass Band (Switzerland), and is constantly in demand as an international soloist.

Isobel Daws

Isobel Daws was the winner of the 2017 BBC Radio 2 Young Brass Award and BBC’s Young Musician of the Year 2018 Brass Final, and the 'Young Talents Tenor' and ALIUD special prize at the Swisstbone competition. She has also played with the London Symphony Orchestra.

Jonathan Pippen

Jonathan Pippen is constantly in demand as a soloist and has performed with many of the UK's finest orchestras and brass bands, including Grimethorpe Colliery and Brighouse & Rastrick Bands, RPCO, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Opera North and English National Opera.

Luciano De Luca

Luciano De Luca is Principal Euphonium of the Italian Brass Band, and a member of the National Police Wind Orchestra of Italy. He has also performed with the City of Rouen Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Rome (Academy of Arts) and Symphony Orchestra of the Rome Conservatory.

Mike Cavanagh

Mike Cavanagh is currently Solo Baritone for the world famous Black Dyke Band, having formerly held the same positions at Grimethorpe Colliery and Brighouse & Rastrick. He is also a co-founder of the multi award-winning A4 Brass Quartet and has won multiple awards as a soloist.

Tom Hutchinson

Tom Hutchinson is Principal Cornet of the world's number one ranked band, Cory, having previously been a member of Black Dyke Band. He has won numerous awards and has two solo CDs to his name - ‘In Principal’ and ‘This Way’, and has led Cory Band to multiple major titles.

Emily Evans

Emily Evans is the Principal Horn of the Flowers Band. She has won many awards including the Harry Mortimer Award at the British Open Championships, ‘Best Soloist’ at the Welsh Open, ‘Best Tenor Horn’ at Brass in Concert and ‘Best Soloist’ at the Butlins Mineworkers Competition .

Grant Jameson

Grant Jameson is Principal Euphonium of Dallas Brass Band, having performed as guest soloist with bands including Cory, Grimethorpe Colliery, Brighouse & Rastrick and Foden's. He was also Principal Euphonium of Flowers, Tredegar Town, Tongwynlais and Woodfalls bands.

James Fountain

James Fountain is currently Joint Principal Trumpet of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, having previously been Principal Trumpet of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Also a member of the highly acclaimed Septura, James is in demand as an international soloist.

Kana Madarame

Kana Madarame is widely regarded as one of the finest cornet and trumpet players to come out of Japan. She is the Principal Cornet of the Japan Ladies’ Brass and Tokyo Brass Society, and in 2003 came second in the International Women’s Brass Conference Competition.

Mark Frost

Mark Frost is regarded as one of the finest bass trombonists in the world, having played for Brighouse & Rastrick and Black Dyke Bands, plus all the BBC Orchestras, London Symphony, London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, Hallé and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.

Richard Marshall

Richard Marshall has been described as “the most outstanding cornet player England has ever produced.” Richard is currently Principal Cornet of the Black Dyke Band, having formerly held the same position at Grimethorpe Colliery. He has six solo recordings to his name.
