Written for the composer's youth brass ensemble, this is an attractive march for three trumpets and two trombones. Ideally suited to groups of intermediate high school/senior school level.
 
The composer writes: 'The goal of this piece is to teach, to challenge, and to be fun. The teaching this piece provides is dynamic contrast, the dotted rhythms, accented and staccato articulation, and varying rhythms and melodic lines simultaneously in the
ensemble. The piece is a technical challenge, but I believe it’s not as hard as it looks.
Many of the more difficult rhythms are unison rhythms, and the key of Bb major is
great for young players'.
