Written by celebrated film and concert composer Bruce Broughton, 11 March 1917 is a profoundly moving Great War homage written in memory of Henry Nichols, who lost his life at Biaches, France. Commissioned by euphoniumist Micah Dominic Parsons - the great-grandson of Henry Nichols - the work serves as both a deeply personal memorial and a universal acknowledgment of all who perished in the First World War.
