Initially titled Incidental Music for Three Seans No. 1, this piece was written by the composer for himself, trombonist Sean McClanahan, and euphonium player Sean Draper. 
 
The composer writes:
'The trio is essentially a showpiece and its goal is not only to make people laugh at times, but to show off the virtuosity of the musicians. All three parts require a lot of flexibility, as well as
strength in the low register (with the euphonium at times playing the role of a
tuba).'
