This creative set of variations by Jonathan Mead of the well known hymn Leaning has been scored for Bb instrumental soloist with optional parts 2 and 3, so it will work equally well as a duet or trio, accompanied by piano. Part 2 will work best on Flugelhorn or Cornet, and Part 3 on Euphonium or Trombone. The arranger sets the tune in various styles through each variation, resulting in an item that will be fun for both player and listener alike.
