Bring a tender, reflective moment of storytelling to your band's Christmas concert with this evocative solo feature by Karl D. A. Whelan. Dedicated to the composer’s German grandmother (Oma), the work gracefully weaves together two quintessential Christmas carols - Stille Nacht (Silent Night) and O Tannenbaum (O Christmas Tree) - into a serene Christmas lullaby. Designed to highlight the lyrical quality of either a Cornet or Flugel horn soloist, this piece offers a rich, atmospheric contrast to traditional festive program offerings.
