Noel Brooks

Originally from Newfoundland, Noel Brooks now resides in London, Ontario, and has spent the majority of his teaching career as a music educator. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, followed by a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario.
As an active church musician, Noel plays trombone in the London Citadel Band, serves as a co-leader of the London Citadel Songsters, and is a busy pianist at London Citadel. His longstanding commitment to youth music education includes leading and supporting youth bands, working with Impact Brass, and volunteering at music camps in Ontario. He has also been invited to serve as a musical guest at camps in Alberta and Texas. While living in Newfoundland, Noel was also the principal trombone of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.
As a composer and arranger, Noel writes for brass band and has produced original and arranged works for choir, congregational worship and elementary concert band. His music has been published by BrookWright, SP&S, Maple Leaf Brass, American Band Journal, and Salvation Worship.
