Robbert Vos is a Dutch euphonium soloist, tutor, conductor and composer. Since 2014 he has been the euphonium player of the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy and since 2007 he has been the solo euphonium of Brass Band Schoonhoven. As a soloist he is frequently asked to work with various orchestras, give workshops and provide tuition for students. He has worked with famous ensembles such as the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Band of the Royal Netherlands Air Force and the Cory Band.
Since 2018 he has been musical director / conductor of Brass Band Schoonhoven A, and he is also chief conductor of Koninklijke Harmonie Phileutonia Eindhoven.
From 2021 onwards Robbert will be the Euphonium Teacher at the Fontys Academy of Music and Performing Arts.
In 2020 Robbert's composition ‘Capriccio for Brass Band’ won both the jury award and the audience award of the inaugural International Brass Band Composers Competition, with part of the prize being the publication of his work by BrookWright Music.
